Customer satisfaction, trust, ethics, integration, professionalism, drive, innovation. These are the seven guiding values for the near future on which the company’s actions will be based, and which will help to strengthen a sense of identity and belonging within it. The values system of the Poste Italiane Group has been redefined both in the light of past experience and on the basis of current strategic guidelines: development and innovation, simplification and flexibility, efficiency. The 7 values and corresponding behaviours are derived from the "cantiereValori", project, which involved over 3000 employees, comprising counter staff, post office managers, postmen and women, call centre operators, sorting office staff and staff structures personnel. The objective of the project was to involve all the different categories of workers in the Poste Italiane Group, in all the different organisational and geographical areas, in order to build up the framework that holds the company together, i.e. those intangible basic principles, or values, that must be coherent with the evolution of the strategic plan and with the demands of a rapidly changing market . This project led to the drafting of the Poste Italiane Group 'Values Charter', which sets forth the ideals that everyone who works in the company should draw inspiration from in order to carry out their activities and which should form a benchmark for the development of a culture coherent with the history of our company, traditionally open to the world.
